A Subscription to CAUSEBOX Can Help
Create a Better World

(Last Updated On: July 22, 2019)

A subscription to CAUSEBOX was not at the top of my list a few months ago. It wasn’t on my list at all. I had never heard of it for one thing.Or, maybe it got lost amongst the other pitches for subscription services.

It seems like every time I hop onto social media I’m barraged with subscription offers…food, clothes, toys, plants, pet supplies…it can be a bit much. Each service offers something legitimate and beneficial, no arguments there. But for me, they tend to run together after awhile.

So when I saw Causebox I thought it was just another subscription service to add to the bunch. But it is different, truly unique.

What is Causebox? In their own words, it is a “seasonal delivery of 6-8 hand-curated products for women. Every product has a story and makes the world better”.

That’s what grabbed my attention. It is more than just some cool stuff that arrives on my doorstep periodically. Every piece in each collection tells a story, is planet friendly, helps create jobs, supports local artisans around the world, and in some instances are curated exclusively for this program.

Causebox also gives back to the community by partnering and serving charities such as Freedom Firm, Speak Your Silence, The Jessie Reese Foundation, Trees for the Future, Books for Africa, and more.

What Does a Subscription to CAUSEBOX include?

Causebox Collection

CAUSEBOX is unique from many other subscription services because they tell  you, upfront, what is going to be in each seasonal collection. Collections are produced four times a year, with a goal  to curate a selection of products that are meaningful, inspiring, and uplifting.  They want to encourage you to be your best self, and introduce you to companies and communities that are making a difference in our world.

Each collection include 6 to 8 items. Every box in that particular collection includes the same items.

There are a limited number of CAUSEBOX collections produced, so if you want to ensure that you receive the current collection it is best to subscribe rather than purchase individually. A subscription can be cancelled at any time and is easy to do (right from your account), so no worries there. You can also pause your subscription at any time, so that adds to the flexibility.

When you subscribe you can elect to pay annually or quarterly. An annual payment is equal to $49.95 per shipment (4x per year). If you pay quarterly the cost is $54.95 per shipment. The products  are valued at around $150 with each collection, according to CAUSEBOX.

The Summer edition of CAUSEBOX is now taking reservations, so act now to make sure you’re on the list! Some of the items in the collection include a Trive Alive Foldover Clutch with a retail value of $128, a D. Stil pretty, reusable water bottle, and a Fair Seas Supply Co. organic cotton turkish towel valued at $44, a Kevia Wear It 6 Ways Necklace valued at $55, and several more lovely items!

Remember, when you subscribe to CAUSEBOX you pay only $49.95 if paid annually or  $54.95 if paid quarterly. And, your seasonal lifestyle products from different brands are focused on ethical and sustainable production, with a percent of profits donated to charity, or to inspire and empower others.

Causebox - help create a better world

CAUSEBOX Spring 2018 Collection

A subscription to Causebox can help create a better world

This is an overview of what I received in my Spring 2018 CAUSEBOX. This collection includes 7 items, as well as a neat little magazine, Good News,  that provides all the details about each item, the company that produced it and how it benefits people and/or the planet. It’s a very interesting read, as you learn the background behind each company and each item.

A Custom Kimono in soft peach tones, handmade and printed just for CAUSEBOX by Symbology in Jaipur, India. It arrived in a snug little bag, all rolled up to fit into the box. I unwrapped it and pressed it on medium heat to remove the wrinkles the occurred from packing and shipping. The fabric is whisper soft and feels very comfortable…just enough for a light extra layer.

Two  Tea Towels from Bloom and Give, made in Kerala, India. They are wrapped very simply and organically. I am going to leave them wrapped, in case I want to use them for a gift. The design of the tea towels is based on what men and women actually wear in the state that they are produced. 10% of  Bloom and Give profits go toward educating girls in India.

A Reed Diffuser from PF Candle Co. I am probably one of the few people who does  not own a reed diffuser, so I was happy to open and place this in my guest bathroom. The fragrance of the oil is Amber & Moss. I like it. The company employs U.S.artisans for their craft and donate a portion of their proceeds to the Downtown Womens Center in LA as well as other causes that matter to them.

Silver Bow Earrings from Soko. They are not my typical style, but I tried them on and was pleasantly surprised. I will most likely keep and wear them for myself, but if I change my mind they will make a lovely gift for the holidays. Soko, the brand, originated in Nairobi, Kenya.  They use the work of local artisans, offering these products globally.

Ultra-Natural Mascara from Juice Beauty. It is plant based and vegan, as are all of the products from Juice Beauty. I am pretty excited about this mascara…it’s rich black color comes from purple carrots. Cool.

All natural Rose Hip Beauty Oil from Scentuals. It provides a range of benefits to foster anti aging as well as burn and scar healing. A percentage of Scentuals’ profits goes directly to the Canadian Cancer Society for research. Note to self: read the directions and use it sparingly…it’s an oil.

A 5×7 Art Print that can double as a postcard, from London based artist Marylou Faure. I may use this as a piece of art, or keep it safe and give it to a special person as a gift. Ms. Faure designed this piece of art to represent Spring, with exotic plants, flowers and vegetation, as well as bright, happy colors.

I was pleased overall with my first CAUSEBOX shipment for Spring, 2018, and am looking forward to the Summer Collection. My subscription to CAUSEBOX makes me feel like I’m contributing in a small way to the environment, charitable organizations and artisans around the world.

The earrings sound pretty. I like the idea of a subscription box that gives back, and you can be treated to gifts that really are a surprise. If something is not for you, maybe you can use it as a gift for someone else who you know would like it!

I love this idea! So many of those subscription services sound insane to me because you’re blindly paying for a mish-mosh of products every month. I love the idea of knowing what you’re getting ahead of time AND supporting small businesses. Very cool!!!

    • Candi Randolph

Thanks Noelle, I think it is very cool, too 🙂

Very neat that it goes to smaller businesses and charities! And purple carrots to make mascara…who knew?!?! Love the kimono.
