Who’s up for a natural face lift to look and feel younger? Well, my little paw is raised high. At 62, almost 63, years old, I see the effects of aging every time I look in the mirror. A facelift at home sounds like just what I need at this time in my life!
And if I may be so bold to say, if you’re a young woman (or man) reading this post, please don’t click away from this page thinking it has no relevance to you yet. Believe me, you want to start taking care of the lovely face the good Lord gave you NOW, not later. I wish I had been doing these facial exercises years ago.
Update 5/7/19: Well, it has now been a little more than 1 year since I began working my ‘Facial Magic’, the natural facelift that is so budget friendly! The image at the top of the post shows you how far I’ve progressed in a year. I turned 64 years old a month ago.
Update January 2020: It’s now been almost 2 years since I began my journey with a natural facelift and Facial Magic. See current photos and my honest review of the product – Facial Magic Review
I would say that my natural aging philosophy is working quite well.
Do I still have facial wrinkles? Yes. Is my skin getting thinner with age? Yes. This program is not invasive and does not use any fillers, so of course nature and gravity are doing their thing. Proper skin care is making a difference, too, in combating those natural changes.
But, I am thrilled that I look at least as good, and better, than I did a year ago. That, to me, is success!

Yes, I know it’s natural as we grow older to see changes in our skin, particularly on our face and neck. But just because I know it’s a natural process doesn’t mean I have to like it. No, I’m just not ready to embrace the ‘new’ me. No way. I’m in my 60’s, that’s true, but I still want to look as youthful and fresh as I possibly can.
I don’t know about you, but when I feel good about myself and my looks, I have more confidence.

For the past few years I’ve put some effort and a bit of money into a variety of anti aging skin care products, searching for the best skin care routine, and had one temporary procedure done.
The creams and lotions seem to help a little bit, but there is only so much a cream will do. For me, it doesn’t seem to make that much difference whether I spend $25 or $125 for an anti aging cream. I feel a bit of tightening happening for a minute, but that’s about it.
A couple of years ago I decided to venture into the world of cosmetic fillers and had one Radiesse procedure done. Radiesse is a volumizing filler that is injected into the skin to plump the skin and thus reduce the line it’s injected into.
The physician that performed the procedure was very skilled and did an excellent job. What did I think? I LOVED the results. There was just a bit of bruising but it was gone quickly, and I was able to cover it up with makeup. I could see a marked difference in those nasty lines around my mouth (thanks, Dad, for the genes). They were still there, but much lighter. I looked about 5 years younger.
The bottom line for me, though, was the cost and the procedure itself. For one thing, it’s really expensive in my world. I paid $700 for one tube (it was used on both sides of my face on the lines on either side of my mouth), and it lasted about 5 months.
My budget will not accommodate that kind of expenditure twice a year or more. And, it is a foreign substance that is being injected into my body. Do I really want to do that over and over? No. I don’t.
So I can say that yes, I had the procedure done, but no…I won’t do it again.
It’s now two years later and I’ve been steadily searching for the best natural face lift to look and feel younger.
Get Rid of Wrinkles with a Natural Facelift at Home – Facial Magic
Recently I came across a system that uses face tightening procedures to naturally decrease wrinkles and tone/tighten the face and neck. There are many ‘facial remedies’ out there that make similar claims. Just do a Google or Pinterest search and they pop right up.
But I wanted to invest in a system to get rid of wrinkles naturally, that was developed by a professional and had been around for awhile, with proven results. My research ultimately found the Cynthia Rowland Facial Magic System. Cynthia Rowland is the founder of the Rejenuve line of anti aging products for men and women. She’s helped people around the globe regain a more youthful look, taking 5 to 10 years off of their face and neck.
Her secret? Well, it has nothing to do with injections, surgeries or introducing foreign substances into the body. She developed a system using European spa exercises that help tone, tighten and lift facial muscles.
It is called Facial Magic…
Wouldn’t it be fun if it were magic? We could wiggle our noses and poof!! All those pesky face and neck wrinkles would disappear.
Of course it doesn’t work that way. It seems like magic, but there is actually some time and effort involved to see results.
The Facial Magic System is a nonsurgical face lift, and is designed to produce results in about 9 to 12 weeks. So, how does this system work to get rid of wrinkles naturally?
I’m going to find out! I decided to purchase the Facial Magic System and it’s on its way to me right now. I should be receiving it in a few days.
This is what I know about it at the moment:
- I’ll have access to an online DVD and audio CD to help me learn the proper way to do the facial exercises, including finger placement, counting and breathing.
- There will also be a progress chart to track how and what I’m doing, and will encompass eating and sleeping habits as well.
- I’ll receive exercise gloves and a supply of Daily Lift, Cynthia’s signature alphahydroxy to lift dead, gray skin cells.
- Finally, I will have access to 8 weeks of online training with Cynthia. I think that’s pretty cool!
My Progress Week by Week with Facial Magic System…Want to Join Me?
I’ll be documenting my weekly progress as I work my way (faithfully, of course…I’m a good little trooper) through the facial exercises and all that go along with it.
Natural Face Lift Before & After Photos
Week 1 & 2 update:
I’m midway into week 2 of the course now, and although I don’t see any significant changes in my looks yet, I am faithfully performing the facial exercises every day.
There are instructional videos as well as audio instructions to make sure the exercises are done correctly. I find that watching the video once, then listening to the audio instructions for the first 2 days gets me going in the proper direction.
Each exercise takes only a minute or so to do, once you get the hang of it. Each week includes 2 facial exercises, so now that I am in week 2 I’m doing 4 facial exercises, once a day.
It doesn’t take a lot of time, but you have to concentrate on what you’re doing, so it’s not something you can do while watching TV, for example.
I’ll update again in another week or so!
Week 3 update:
I’ve completed week 3 and am into week 4 of the course. It is suggested that we take a photo after completing week 3, so that is what I’ve done. I have to be honest…it’s hard to post these photos because they are not flattering. But it’s who I am. It’s important to take a photo with a ‘resting face’, front on, so no smiles or angles here.
The photo on the left was taken on Day 1 of the course. The photo on the right was taken after completing week 3:
I took these photos in the same room so the lighting is consistent. I have a bit of makeup on in both.
The facial exercises I’ve been doing are for the upper cheeks, upper eyes, jowls and pouches (lower face), neck and double chin. While the results are just beginning to show, I can see some progress around my mouth and lower face. And for me, that is one of the areas I most want to see changes in, so I’m pleased for sure! I have a LONG way to go with the neck wrinkles…genetics and time spent in the sun did that.
There is also a bit more ‘brightness’ to my face, which is also an result of these facial exercises. It’s pretty interesting!
Currently I am performing a total of 8 exercises per day (2 new exercises are added every week for 9 weeks) and it takes me about 10 minutes to complete them. Once the natural face lift exercises are completed for all weeks I will do them 3 times per week for maintenance.
So, we’re not talking about spending hours of time on this. And it’s my face, for goodness sake. I want it to look the best it can for a women in her 60’s. I’m worth it!
Week 4 & 5 update:
So here I am after week 5 (well, 1 more day to complete the week but it’s close enough) and I have updated my photo. I took this photo in the same room, same lighting, standing in the same spot. I have some makeup on in both photos so things are pretty much equal.
The image on the left is Day 1, the image in the middle is after completing week 3, and the image on the right is after 5 weeks. Pretty interesting, isn’t it? There is a marked change in my face, and I think it’s for the better! There is maybe a small improvement in my neck at this point, but I have a long way to go in that area.
I have been very faithful in doing my facial exercises every day. I’m doing 10 exercises so it’s taking me about 15 minutes per session. It is definitely a commitment, as I’ll be adding 2 more exercises to the regime tomorrow, which will begin week 6.
I’ve been working on my upper and lower lip, lower eye and chin, in addition to the exercises in previous weeks.
Two exercises are added every week though week 9, so the most exercises I’ll do every day are 18. Once I complete week 12, I’ll go to a 3 day per week program.
But, I will say this, it is absolutely worth the time and money (less than $130) to see my face becoming younger looking without any injections or cutting.
Week 6 & 7 Update
Still trying my best to be faithful with my daily facial exercises, and am pleased with my progress:
The photo on the left is Day 1, and the photo on the right is today, 4/26/18. As with the previous images, all were taken in the same room, same lighting, same makeup. I’m currently doing 14 facial exercises and it takes about 16-17 minutes a day.I usually do them in the morning after I shower, but they can be done anytime, as long as your face is clean.
I now have access to one on one videos with Cynthia Rowland, the founder of Facial Magic. I can tune in on demand and do my exercises along with her. It’s very helpful because she adds comments and reminders as we go along.
Week 8 & 9 update
I’m now doing all of the exercises that are part of the Facial Magic program. Here are the photos updates showing me (yes, the mug shots!) at Week 1, Week 4 and Week 9:
What happens now? I will continue with the facial exercise program daily, through Week 12. Then, I will go through the program 3 days per week instead of every day. It is definitely a commitment, and like any other exercise, you get out of the program what you put into it.
Some days I don’t really feel like going through the program, and taking 1 day off per week is fine, actually recommended. But other than the occasional day that I skip, I am faithful to the program, as it takes about 20 minutes to do. Not a lot time per day compared to the benefits I am seeing.
Week 12 update:
It’s been 12 weeks since I started the Facial Magic Natural Face Lift, and I’ve officially completed the first phase of transforming my face by using exercises. Just like we exercise our bodies to firm and shape, exercising our face can produce very positive results. So, while I don’t relish the thought of showing my mug shots to the world, it is an effective way to demonstrate how my face has regained some of it’s youthful look in 3 months.
No surgeries, no fillers or injections. Instead, a very specific set of facial exercises along with a healthy lifestyle. My commitment going forward is spending about 20 minutes 3 to 4 times per week to keep my face looking youthful. I’m exercising my neck as well, but I have a lot of work to do there. Even so, I see a bit of progress so am happy about that.
Anyone, women and men, should seriously consider this program. It is incredibly inexpensive (less than $150) for what you gain from it. Start young…don’t wait until you’re 62 like I did.

How about you? Are you up for joining me in my journey for a natural face lift?
It doesn’t matter how old (or young) you are! It’s never too early to start caring for your skin and implementing some healthy anti aging practices!
Honestly, I wish I had known about this program 20 years ago, in my 40’s. But that’s okay…I’m so glad I am giving myself the gift of a natural face lift now!
The cost for this non surgical face lift is currently $129.95 for the basic kit I described above. It’s a bit of an investment, yes, but pennies compared to the cost of invasive procedures! And, you don’t have to keep purchasing the system over and over like so many other anti aging skin care remedies. Once you have this system in hand, you’re on your way to a more youthful looking face and neck. I am living proof of that!

Thanks for sticking with it so we can all see your progress!
Thanks Maggie, I’m going to do my best!
I’ve never heard of most of these things before! I’ve been blessed with always looking younger than my actual age but as I approach fifty, I”M SEEING MY AGE!
I’m interested in seeing your results!
Thanks for sharing.
Stay tuned, you might want to keep this in mind for the future 🙂
I like the approach: using our muscles to help in the process. Probably circulating blood helps too.
I think so, Verla. I can feel the muscles working, just like when exercising other muscles in my body.
I have to admit, it made me chuckle a little reading about doing facial exercises. But, when I thought about it more I can see how it makes sense. We exercise our bodies to stay toned. Why not our faces?
Exactly!
This is a much better and natural alternative to facial injections! And it makes sense to do facial exercises. I can’t wait to see your results!
Thanks Gail, I’ll keep posting the results
What an interesting concept! I would love something that would take away a few years of wrinkles, but not the memories that made them. 🙂
Good point Jennifer, we always want the memories
I would love to see your progress. Great post.
Thanks Laura, I’ll be updating my progress every week or so. Stay tuned!
Great post! Thanks for the tips!

Thanks, Stephanie!
Can’t wait to see how it works! I struggle with the same thing. I don’t want to invest chemicals, but I love the results!
I’m excited about the possibilities, check back and see what you think 🙂
Yes, it’s a great help when you can work together with a few friends!
I agree, it helps with the motivation!
I’m glad you found a natural way that is working for you! Then you don’t have all the side effects of the other stuff.
I agree, natural is the best way to go. Thanks!
The difference is simply wow! I sent this link to my mom and asked her to check it out. I am so excited
Thanks Sandy, I think ‘wow’ is appropriate here! I am quite amazed myself when I see these photos, and would encourage everyone over the age of 40 to give Facial Magic serious consideration.
wow I’m going to look into this- thanks for the advice!
Of course! Hope you decide to give Facial Magic a try, it’s a wonderful way to stay youthful looking.
That is amazin!!
It’s so simple, but it really does give amazing results! Thanks for checking it out, Haralee
Love this and that you share with us each step. What a woman. Going to try at least one area on my face.
Thanks Beth, it wasn’t easy to share my bare face, especially before Facial Magic, but it was the only way to show my progress, and that the program really does work. Hope you give it a try!
I absolutely do facial exercises every day. It helps for the rest of the body, why not the face? Love seeing the progress!
I agree, facial exercises are just as crucial as exercising our other muscles. Glad to hear you are doing them daily. Thanks for stopping by!
Interesting article. I really like that this is a natural approach and non-invasive.
Thanks Julie, me too. That is what originally attracted me to the program and I’m so glad I did it!
Wow Candi, I hadn’t seen this post before, but you look absolutely fantastic. What a difference. I would also be one to go for a non invasive approach, the more natural the better. #MLSTL and Pinned 🙂
Thank you so much, Jo! Yes, I’ve stayed true to the program for 1 1/2 years now and it truly does help keep my face looking more youthful.
Interesting! Love seeing the results.
Hi Kim, the results are what gives this natural face lift credibility. It’s one of the best investments in myself that I’ve made!
