When it comes to the holidays and gift-giving, it’s always great fun to find just the right gift for family members. When I think about myself, though, sometimes my little brain comes up empty. I feel like I have everything I need and am grateful for that.
Realistically, though, some thoughtful Christmas gift ideas for women over 50, like us, got me to thinking about some of the wonderful products and garments I’ve tried and become attached to. So I’d love to share them with you!
Just like the 12 days of Christmas, I have twelve suggestions that you might want to add to your own holiday wish list. Some are practical and functional, some taste good, others smell nice, and a few are just because!
If you click on a link and then make a purchase, I may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. Thank you!
12 Christmas Gift Ideas for Women Over 50
We know all too well how our body shape changes with age. Our skin, once firm and supple (glowing, too!), has taken on a drab appearance with pesky lines, wrinkles, and sags.
Even though we’ve pushed past menopause, we can still experience warm flushes that can hinder our sleep.
And, have you noticed that your tootsies just aren’t what they used to be? They need a little bit of extra love, too.
Gift Ideas to Help You Look Good and Feel Great
1 | Covered Perfectly Apparel
So many women tell me that they’re frustrated with a changing body that just doesn’t cooperate anymore when it comes to putting an outfit together and feeling good in it.
Our friends at Covered Perfectly have created a niche for women over 50 that addresses the top half of the equation. Because our bodies look different and we carry extra weight around the middle, their fashions are proportioned appropriately for this body shape: not so large it looks like a tent, and not so tight that it hugs places it shouldn’t.
My favorite is the Micro Modal Collection. This fabric is amazing! It lays well, flows graciously, and washes with care nicely.
Here’s what the folks at Covered Perfectly have to say about this fabric:
MicroModal® is something truly special. The fiber is made of European beechwood, is completely natural and produced in Austria. This natural composition makes it a breathable fabric, suitable for wearing close to the skin. It’s described as the softest fabric in the world and is so gentle it feels like a second skin.

They offer more than tops, too. You’ll find jackets, skirts, vest, and more. Check it out and see what you might want to add to your Christmas Wish List!

2 | Cool Jams Moisture Wicking Sleepwear
Our sleeping habits can change as we get older, have you noticed? I sure have. Sleep has always come fairly easily to me, with a 7-hour a night stretch (well, except for a tinkle break) many times.
One of the things that can interrupt our beauty sleep is our changing body temperature. Whether it’s because of hormones, stress, what we’re eating or drinking, or our overall health, it’s no fun to lie awake at night, staring at the ceiling.
Take a proactive approach as well as find something fun for your Christmas gift list, and check out what Cool Jams has to offer. I am not a nightgown kind of a girl, so I love the capri / tank top set shown in the image above.
If you’re feeling generous, Cool Jams is not just for us girls. There are some great gift ideas for men, too. You can even find bedding that will help you stay cooler at night!

3 | Stocking Stuffer Alert: Bombas Socks
What first attracted me to the Bombas brand was their One Purchased = One Donated commitment. And they mean it. As of this writing they have donated over 50 million items to people who need them. How awesome is that?
What has kept me wearing Bombas no show socks for the last few years is how well they feel, and perform. I prefer the no-show style of sock, and I also am really happy when the socks stay put on my feet as I walk. Particularly when walking for exercise.
Some brands of socks scrunch up, wiggle around, and are just very annoying. Not these puppies.
I wear the cushioned no-show socks, and they are awesome. They’ll fit quite nicely into a Christmas stocking, too!
Bombas offers a variety of socks for men, women, and kids as well as other personal items like underwear, t-shirts, and slippers.
4 | Personalized Skin Care from Proven
It’s been a journey for me to find skin care that really works for my maturing skin. Really maturing skin…like, every day it gets older. I know, yours does, too. And if you’re like me, you want to look youthful in a natural kind of way.
When I found PROVEN about a year ago, I was excited about the possibility of a personalized skin care plan created just for my skin, my age, even my location. It had great promise!
And I can confidently say that after a year as a PROVEN customer, I am more than satisfied with how the cleanser, day moisturizer with SPF, and night cream have performed.
If you’re still searching for skin care that will help you look and feel your youthful best, think about adding PROVEN to your holiday wish list. It’s a subscription service that can be customized, and it’s not hard to cancel.
But I think you might love it! Read my review of Proven Skin Care.
5 | A Natural Face Lift with Facial Magic
If you’ve been wishing for the opportunity to give a natural face lift a try, this might be the perfect addition to your holiday wish list.
I’m an avid proponent of natural aging, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to let myself turn into a wrinkly-faced old lady. I’m to vain for that. But I also know that going down the road of fillers and surgeries is not for me.
Facial Magic is a wonderful, natural, creator-supported program that will give you positive results over time, usually within about 6 to 9 weeks.
It’s not incredibly expensive – about $150 one time – but still, it might be more than you’re able to pay. Unless, of course, it’s Christmas! This could be a game-changer for you, my friend.

The coffee and donut earrings highlighted earlier in this post are their design. They always bring a smile to my face and comments from those who see them.
