Coffee with Candi 1-25-2019
Well, I’ll have a chat with you about my week…what’s been happening, the good the bad the exciting, the boring…most importantly, what have I learned about life, my family, my friends, work, health, looking my best…I’ll spill it honestly and openly with you. Always with a fresh cup of hot, black coffee in my hand. I think better with java in my paw.

What’s on my mind this week:
You may have seen my recent post about eShakti, the budget friendly alternative to custom women’s clothing. It’s an option for women who live with budget restrictions to be able to order customized clothing at very reasonable prices; most separates and dresses are under $100 including the $9.95 fee to customize.
After I published the post, I ordered an asymmetrical tunic wrap (kind of sounds like sandwich, doesn’t it?) that I’d had my eye on for months:
I customized only the sleeve length and was pretty pleased with the outcome. By the way, I’m the one on the right. 🙂
The item was on sale also, which was a real plus. I ultimately paid less than $65 for the tunic including the $9.95 customization fee and shipping. If you could benefit from customizable women’s fashions at very reasonable prices, read more of my post about eShakti.
For some of us, staying true to a budget is a constant challenge, and can get us into financial trouble if we’re not careful. Fortunately there are knowledgeable advisors available who have lived through the same challenges and can provide insight, guidance and practical help. One of those people is my blogger friend Sarah Brumley from Lemon Blessings.
Sarah knows exactly how it feels to work within a budget, set goals and come up against financial challenges. She offers practical tips, advice, free printables, an online goal setting course and even personal coaching sessions.
If you have any friends or family members (or maybe you) who could benefit from some sound guidance in the area of financial goal setting and budgeting, visit Lemon Blessings and see how beneficial Sarah’s personal experience can be!
As I was digging through my jewelry box this morning (actually I have a number of small boxes on my dresser that hold all of my ‘jewels’) I thought how nice it would be to have a more organized system for my collection.
So, I thought I’d gather some interesting and unique, custom crafted jewelry organizers from the artisans on Etsy. There are always so many choices it’s hard to narrow things down, but in the end I found these ideas for you (and me) to consider:
Clockwise from top left: Jewelry Holder with Shelf | Snow Mountain Ring Cone Jewelry Holder | Driftwood Jewelry Organizer | Cactus Ring Holder | Wood Ring Organizer
I’m a bit partial to the driftwood wall hanging organizers...how cool!

2 years agoI absolutely love that dress! I so rarely think of getting items customized for me, even though I’m on the smaller side, just due to the cost! It’s nice to know there is an option that doesn’t cost a fortune. (And thanks for the mention!)

2 years agoHi Candi, I have coffee in hand and just catching up with you. I love that tunic top and it really suits you. I was thinking the same thing about my jewellery the other day. As you know we will be moving once we sell my MILs home and I need to declutter myself as we downsize. I loved the driftwood design as well and would fit in with our ocean front apartment. Have a great week and thanks for the tips.

2 years agoThat tunic looks fab on you, Candi! Aren’t jewelry organizers the best? I had my hubby make me one a few years ago, by attaching several sets of cup hooks to a 2×4 – love it! (the ones you found online are super-cool too, though! 🙂 )
