Welcome to Coffee with Candi, a time for us to have a chat every week on Friday and catch up.
Well, I’ll have a chat with you about my week…what’s been happening, the good the bad the exciting, the boring…most importantly, what have I learned about life, my family, my friends, work, health, looking my best…I’ll spill it honestly and openly with you. Always with a fresh cup of hot, black coffee in my hand. I think better with java in my paw.
And, I’ll share one special thing that has brightened up my week, so it can potentially make you smile, too. It might be a new gadget, a piece of furniture, a nifty clothing find, a recipe, or something to make your life easier. It’s my gift to you that will keep on giving. 🙂

What’s on my mind this week:
in no particular order…however the thoughts came into my little head
I’m learning some new workout routines as a member of the Ageless Army that I mentioned a few weeks ago. Now that I’m back home and into a regular routine again, I’m watching Linda Melone’s workout videos…thus, the resistance band. Looks like a great way to create resistance and build strength without using weights.
Although I have to be honest and admit that I am relieved it is not coming to SW Florida (it was one year ago this week that I fled my home as Hurricane Irma headed to my city), my thoughts and prayers are with everyone who is in the path of the storm. If you live in that area, please be safe!
My online business continues to grow and develop, which is quite exciting! First, this blog is gaining readership regularly, and I finally feel like I have enough information available to make a difference to my readers. It’s been about six months, and while it is a significant daily effort, I am pleased with where Inspire My Style is heading.
The other major effort for me is the development of online courses. I came to a decision this week, and changed direction for the first course I’ll be offering.
While I think that my background and knowledge of Home Staging and Interior Decorating will offer course opportunities, I wanted to create my first course for women in midlife who may be searching for a renewed purpose, and need some motivation and direction. So I’m creating a personal development course that will cover relevant topics.
It’s pretty scary to be creating this material, but I have a wonderful instructor and am excited about it’s potential. Does that sound like something that would interest you? I realize that you don’t have all the details yet, but would love to hear some comments about the topic.
One Special Thing – Antique Farmhouse
Have you heard of Antique Farmhouse? If you like to have some Rustic, Industrial, Farmhouse, Cottage or Shabby Chic type decor in your home, you might want to check out their site. They offer online Daily Sales Events with curated items that revolve around a theme. The theme changes every day, but the Sales Event will continue until the items offered are sold out.inspire
My home is casual and eclectic, with a rustic, industrial vibe, and I have purchased a few items from Antique Farmhouse. I really love my pieces and would definitely purchase again. The pricing is reasonable and the pieces can be quite unique, so you won’t see your stuff in your neighbor’s house, if you know what I mean. 🙂
What I will tell you about Antique Farmhouse, though, is that you don’t want to be in a hurry when ordering, because you’ll wait a couple of weeks (or possibly longer) for your items. As long as you’re cool with that, have a look at their current Sales Events…Harvest Supper, The Cozy Cottage, The Mason Jar, Christmas Sneak Peak and Terrain Lane are just a few!
Hope you enjoyed Coffee with Candi. Subscribe to Inspire My Style and I’ll deliver this right to your inbox every week!
